I am suvas, student of EuroMPM in Fachhochschule Dortmund, Germany. I am from nepal, the highest place in the world. It is a nice opportunity to come from the highest place to near ocean.
Being a business graduate from Tribhuvan University, Nepal I am on the way to get a professonal education in the field of Project management. And the destination is quite interesting and experience is amazing that i ever had.
I wish to go in the field of Project finance and Project Economics which i think is quite challanging. Along with these challanging field, i put myself in projet portfolio management.
Experience in EuroMPM
At first glance MPM is a group of students but when someone gets involved then s/he will know that this is not only a studnet group but a collection of world. We students are here from the high himalaya to the sea shore. At the same time we learn from books and group having different culture and different academic background. We have learnt Greek philosophy to the chinese cooking skill. Further the oil fields in caspian sea to the mount Everest are other discussion areas which has enhanced our business and project insights in different countries and cultures.
Moreever relationship of the program with world renowned companies such as RWE, Ericsson, Nokia Siemens, BP etc has provided practicle knowledge in the field of project management and other business aspects which will obviously shape our future careers.
Mandatory exchange semester is another interesting and fruitful aspects of MPM program. Students get chance to visit renowned european universities such as University of Bilbao, ESC lille, NTNU Trondheim and most importantly University of Applied sciences and Arts Dortmund.
Except study
We are 15 students and speak more than 20 languages. We make fun in class saying sometimes "Hola" to "Guten Tag" to "Namaskar" different greeting styles in different languages. Beside being students we are good chefs as well. Each week or each month we cook different kinds food and celebrate. We had also organised "Fun Evening" as a part of course project which gave us timely execution knolwledge with having fun.
